Thank you once again to our buyers, bidders, agents, suppliers, Mataranka locals and friends for supporting our 3rd Annual Coodardie Brahmans Grass Fed Bull and Female Sale.  Without you all it is not possible.

Mataranka local and past NTCA president, Rohan Sullivan secured the top priced bull, Coodardie Big Bill, for $2900.Bulk buyer of the sale was Basil from Jindare Station, Pine Creek, taking home 21 bulls. This included red polled bull Coodardie Love Me Tender for $2500.Stuart Austin, of Mataranka Station bought 3 highly fertile young bulls.Two pens of light red heifers went to Darryl and Gill at Adelaide River and a pen of red heifers to Patrick O’Brien.The balance of the grey bulls and heifers sold to WA indigenous corporation, Mowantjum. It was a tough market and some stock were taken home due to lack of bidders.

The Sport and Rec Grounds looked a picture – Council staff efforts and assistance was much appreciated. Heaps of tempting and tasty foods kept us, our guests and clients well fueled throughout the day thanks to the Mataranka Better Half Club. And it was with pleasure that we were once again able to have the Mataranka Primary School come and visit the sale to learn more of the Cattle Industry and the selling process – plus come and pat Coodardie Love Me Tender! Thank you all.
